I'm writing a blog for the first time. I have never tried blogging before. May be I didn't have much to say or may be I had other ways to express myself. I feel that we human beings have a deep unquenchable thirst to communicate, to express ourselves. After frequent encounters with mediocrity and superficiality, we sometimes get exhausted. We strive to see beyond what we see and listen beyond what we hear. In such an endeavor to introspect, I discovered the greatest film maker of all times: Ingmar Bergman. I watched His 'Autumn Sonata', 'The Virgin Spring' and 'Wild Strawberries. I think I am incapable of finding suitable words that could show justice to my emotions if I make an effort to elucidate the uniqueness and intensity of the cinematic experience I have had from these works. The case is the same when it comes to Kieslowski's 'Three colours: Blue' which I watched today. At this juncture I am thanking these great film makers a billion times for holding my hand and taking me to a brand new world of complex and subtle shades of human emotions.
